​​Hello and welcome to my portfolio page. My name is Lare Yaqoob I will use this page to showcase the work I have done and the learning I have achieved during English 1C/2C.

First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals

1. My goal was to learn how to chart the text and now I knew how to do it.
2. My coal was to learn more vocabulary words and I did.
3. My coal ​was to learn more grammer about english's language.
4. my coal was to come to the class earlier and I did.
5. my coal to finish all my homeworks and I did.

Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.

1. Read the article carefully
2. Summarize the text to write what the author says.
3. Number the paragraphs
4. Explain what the author say and what he does

My Example from Hunger Feeds the Desperation Leading to Turmoil

In Suddan people are starving and they are looking for international relief for assistance	5	the author offers evidence to prove how people are facing the famine

Transformation break the poverty and educated women marry and have healthy, educated, and fewer children	7	the author is explaining the importance of education to break the poverty especially for the women
The program promote human rights by giving children adequate food and that would convince their families to send their children to school to get education & aid	8	the author is making claim of helping people by give them food in school to help the children and their families
Chuldren who grow up are facing hard time in thier childhood and they are dying each six seconds	9	the author is giving more evidence to say how much children are suffering to get food and they live in painful childhood
Ensuring that no child goes to school hungry it's the greatest investment to make building prosperous, healthy, and stable society	10	the author is summarizing the enquirement in pacemaking strategies to make sure everybody is going to school
